The number of dengue infected patients in the capital’s several hospitals has decreased in last 24 hours, according to health emergency operations center and control room.
Health decorates’ control room said, a total of 1, 687 dengue patients were admitted in the hospital on Friday. Earlier, on Thursday the number of dengue patients was 1,712. That means the number of dengue infected patients are decreasing slowly.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said 1,649 patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours until that morning. Of them, 956 cases were reported from Dhaka alone.
According to government statistics, 22,919 people were hospitalised with dengue since January to July. Of them, 18 dengue patients have so far died.
