Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said various issues including Teesta river water-sharing will be discussed during the meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Besides, eight memorandum of understanding (MoUs) would be signed during the tour.
The Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen made the disclosure while addressing a press conference on Wednesday. Foreign secretary M Shahidul Haque and others attended the function.
He said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to start her four-day long India tour from tomorrow. A number of deals will also be signed during the visit.”
“Prime Minister will also take part as chief guest at the India Economic Summit organised by the World Economic Forum on Oct 3-4. She will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5.
Dr AK Abdul Momen said, “Agreements on youth and sports, culture, shipping, economy, ocean research, standard testing of products, trade, education, ICT and economic zones would be signed during the tour.”
