যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে বাংলাদেশী অধ্যুষিত মিশিগান রাজ্যের অন্যতম কমিউনিটি সংগঠন ইহদিনা । কমিউনিটির সদস্যদের আন্তরিক সহযোগিতায় গত রবিবার, ২৫ মে ২০২৫, দুপুর ২টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৮টা পর্যন্ত দিনব্যাপী এ কর্মসূচি অত্যন্ত সফল ও সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়।
কর্মসূচির প্রথম ধাপ শুরু হয় বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির অন্যতম প্রাচীন ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধর্মীয় প্রতিষ্ঠান মসজিদ বায়তুল মোকাররামে। যুহরের নামাজ ও দোয়ার মাধ্যমে কর্মসূচির সূচনা হয়। এরপর মসজিদের ভেতর, অজুখানা ও চারপাশ পরিষ্কার ও ধৌত করা হয়।
পরবর্তী ধাপে দলটি যায় মিশিগানের অন্যতম পুরনো দ্বীনি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান দারুল উলুম ডেট্রয়েট-এ। সেখানে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে জমে থাকা আগাছা, প্লাস্টিক, বোতল, ব্যাগ ও অন্যান্য আবর্জনা পরিস্কার করা হয়। পার্কিং লটসহ আশেপাশের পরিবেশকে পরিচ্ছন্ন করা হয়।
দিনের শেষভাগে পরিচ্ছন্নতা কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হয় হ্যামট্রামিকের কেন্দ্রস্থল জেইন ফিল্ড পার্কে। পরিচ্ছন্নতা কার্যক্রমের পাশাপাশি পার্কে অবস্থানরত যুবকদের সঙ্গে সময় কাটিয়ে তাদেরকে নামাজ, পরিচ্ছন্নতা, সচেতনতা ও পজিটিভ সংস্কৃতির দাওয়াত দেওয়া হয়, যা তারা আন্তরিকভাবে গ্রহণ করে।
জেইন ফিল্ড পার্কে আসরের নামাজের পর সমাপনী দোয়া ও বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমে কর্মসূচির আনুষ্ঠানিক সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করা হয়।
ইহদিনার পক্ষ থেকে মাওলানা শেখ আহমাদ কাশেম, মুফতি রিয়াদুল হুদা এবং মাওলানা শাকের আহমদ সকল সদস্য, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষীদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা ও ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করেন।
মসজিদ বায়তুল মোকাররাম ও দারুল উলুম ডেট্রয়েটের দায়িত্বশীলগণ ইহদিনার পঞ্চাশের অধিক সদস্যের এই উদ্যোগকে আন্তরিকভাবে প্রশংসা করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতের কার্যক্রমের জন্য দোয়া ও শুভকামনা জানান।
the Community Clean-Up Day 2025 organized by IHDINA was successfully completed.
By the grace of Allah Ta’ala and with the sincere support of the community, this day-long initiative was held in an orderly and effective manner on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2 PM to 8 PM.
The first phase of the program began at Masjid Baitul Mukarram, one of the oldest and most significant mosques of the Bangladeshi community. The event commenced with the Dhuhr prayer and a special supplication. This was followed by the cleaning and washing of the mosque premises, ablution areas, and surrounding grounds.
In the next phase, the team moved to Darul Uloom Detroit, one of Michigan’s historic Islamic educational institutions. Volunteers cleared the area of dry weeds, plastics, bottles, bags, and other accumulated waste. The parking lot and adjacent surroundings were thoroughly cleaned.
The final part of the clean-up was conducted at Zane Field Park, located in the heart of Hamtramck. In addition to the cleaning, the team spent time interacting with local youth, encouraging them with messages about prayer, cleanliness, awareness, and embracing a positive lifestyle. The youth received these messages with sincerity and appreciation.
The program concluded officially after Asr prayer at Zane Field Park with a closing supplication and brief remarks.
On behalf of IHDINA, Maulana Sheikh Ahmad Kashem, Mufti Riyadul Huda, and Maulana Shakir Ahmad extended heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all members, volunteers, and well-wishers for their participation and support.
The leadership of Masjid Baitul Mukarram and Darul Uloom Detroit also appreciated the sincere efforts of IHDINA’s team of over fifty members and expressed their prayers and best wishes for future initiatives.
